Reviews help new customers trust you and help Google decide whom to show in local results. The good news is that most happy customers are willing to write one if you ask the right way.
1. Create your review link
In your Google Business Profile, find the option to get a review link (“Ask for reviews” or “Share review form”). Save the link and make a short QR code for your counter.
2. Ask at the right moment
Ask right after a good experience: after a clean delivery, a solved problem, a finished treatment or a happy event. Delay makes it much less likely.
3. Send a simple WhatsApp message
A short, polite message works best:
Thank you for choosing us. If you were happy with our service, we would be grateful if you could share a quick review here: [link]. It helps others find us.
In Hindi or Marathi, keep the same tone: short, grateful and clear.
4. Reply to every review
- Positive: thank them by name and mention something specific.
- Negative: stay calm, apologise where appropriate, offer to resolve offline and never argue publicly.
What not to do
- Do not buy fake reviews or ask friends who were never customers.
- Do not offer discounts or gifts in exchange for reviews, which can violate platform rules.
- Do not filter and ask only happy customers through a gate that hides unhappy ones.
- Medical and legal professionals must also protect client privacy in replies.
Make it a habit
Set a target such as a few new reviews each week and train staff to ask. Steady growth looks more natural than a sudden burst.
